I had intended to get up at 10 am today. Either the alarm did not go off or I didn't hear it, because I actually woke up at 6:45 pm.

So much for a productive day. On the other hand, now that the loggy feeling of having overslept is wearing off and my wake-up dose of Ritalin (doctor prescribed) is kicking in, I feel quite wonderfully rested.

Some interesting things have crossed my line of sight in spite of having only been up for about two hours. First, a type of Russian helmet, circa 1880, that showed up on Antiques Road Show, which was on the living room TV while George and I were having coffee. Second, The Asexual Visibility and Education Network, which was mentioned in an article in our local paper.

Third, "What LJ Actually Did (and why it should bother you.)", a post on IJ summing up the various aspects of LJ's conduct that may be cause for concern.

Fourth, something that I'd intended to post to this blog yesterday, but simply forgot: SNL's (in)famous Annualle commercial. (WARNING: for axe-wielding, screaming women, man-punching, and dog-kissing.)



It's about 8:30 pm, and I'm debating whether to (a) knuckle down and try to get some work done or (b) climb back into bed and get up early tomorrow. Decisions, decisions...
