I got up at 2 pm -- much later than I intended, but last night I didn't arm the alarm. D'oh. In any case George was using the iMac to process his latest pages, so it's probably just as well that I caught up on my sleep anyway.
I've drunk some coffee, eaten breakfast (see today's Project 365 entry for a pic), read the paper with George, surfed the Internet for a couple of hours, cleaned the catbox, and taken down the altar from the Full Moon Group events. Once a pot of chai tea is brewed, I'll settle down to work on HB. I haven't heard anything from my editor re: finishing on the weekend, so I'm hoping he's good with that.
In health news today: Stomach reduction surgery may cure diabetes in overweight people. This is actually fairly old news -- the earliest reports I've dug up on it are from 2002 -- but it seems to be hitting the major news services this week. I'm nowhere near fat enough to qualify for that kind of surgery, but if it ends the scourge of diabetes for some, I say more power to 'em.
*sigh* Time to start laying flats.
