I just got an email informing me that a lady I saw at various Pagan and fannish events has died. She was found dead in her apartment by police yesterday. Foul play is not suspected at this point.
It was quite a shock. I only saw her once or twice a year, but she was very nice and I always enjoyed our conversations.

i feel i should know this person, i'd imagine i'd know her by face rather than name ...
that's so sad.. hopefully it was a peaceful passing
