Today marks a break in the heat wave that's been plaguing us these last couple of weeks -- thank the Gods.
And it turns out the G4's monitor is well and truly kacked. *sigh* It was a 19 incher, and we've had to replace it with a 17 incher that we had sitting around (which makes for a very crowded palette set-up in Photoshop). Fortunately it looks like we can pick up a replacement monitor, a 21 incher, from a local artist of our acquaintance: he has a spare one, and is going to get back to us with a price after he sees how much they're going for on eBay.
The bad news: George REALLY wanted to go to an LCD monitor, and the 21" is a CRT. Ah, well. At least there's one locally that we can get without paying a fortune in shipping, although we'll have to wait until I get another cheque to purchase it.

The half a Seroquel tablet I took last night is not zonking me out as hard as it did the two previous nights. I must be getting used to the dosage. I might use another half tablet tonight, but we'll have to see what my anxiety levels are like.
