Deep in a lush, green forest, a tall fir tree stood
beside a twisted, thorny bramble. One day it
grandly said to the thorny bush, "Bush, if
you had one wish in all this wide world,
wouldn't you rather be a tall, straight fir
tree like me?"
"No," said the twisted bush, "Just
like you, I'm proud of what I am. Besides, I
wouldn't take the gamble. When the woodcutter
comes to cut tall, straight firs, wouldn't you
rather be a bramble?" An Aesop's Fable You
are a loner. You are just happy to be in your
own company or that of a few close friends. You
are probably confidant in yourself, although a
little shy. You might have been hurt by people
in the past which made you withdraw. You are a
bit of an enigma to those around you, as you
dont often open up to share your thoughts or
personality. You may seem mysterious and
perplexing because people do not know what to
expect from you or how to treat you. This may
cause many to overlook your friendship, and
cause problems when you do want to express
yourself, but as long as you have a few close,
real friends you dont need the superficial
support of a group to feel loved. You are happy
being you and love any place which will give
you space to breathe and meditate. Your
introversion may confuse others, but you are
lucky to be so content with yourself.
