Tired and depressed, but still got some stuff done today. Went out and shopped for a couple of presents -- one for the wedding George and I will be attending on Saturday, and one for my mother for a combination birthday/Mothers Day gift. Got some stuff at the grocery store. Mailed off some important documents. Had lunch at a local cafe, where I picked up some challah bread for tomorrow's ritual out at the lake. Then when we came home, I put on a couple of loads of laundry and practiced some potential henna patterns on my hand using an Aquarelle water color pencil.
Still have to exercise, and still not sure if I'm going back to Ipsos or not.
Last night I read over the scripts for the new comic series George has signed on to pencil/ink, and... wow. It's a Christian comic company, and it shows in the work: the superhero is a real stick, and the "OMGTEHEBILSATANISTS!!1!11!1!" vibe is utterly integral to the plot. George has already stated that if they drag Wiccans into this in a negative way, he'll refuse to draw it (hopefully that won't happen, because we REALLY need the money).
Next weekend is Keycon 23. I'm half-hoping to go, because I owe someone there money. (He's from the States and only comes up for the con. I was supposed to reproduce a nametag for him that got waterdamaged, but when George and I did that whirlwind studio cleanup a few weeks back the artwork got lost in the shuffle, so I'll have to refund him the $25.) Also, I've been jonesing for fandom in the worst way this last week or so, longing to listen to the filking and wander the hallways engulfed in that random, energized playfulness that sci-fi fans always embody. *sigh* If I'm back at Ipsos by then that will seriously crimp the weekend. Again... ambivalence.
Priorities? What the hell are those? :-P

Challah? Wiccans use challah bread for ceremonies?
*iz confused and curious*

Usually for the ritual meal in sacred space, we use a small cake or muffin and either wine or grape or apple juice.
