A minor Hallelujah

The bank has FINALLY freed up our account -- or at least the amount of money in it above and beyond what Revenue Canada is demanding. It only took three phone calls plus a personal visit to the bank to get this accomplished, and our Interac card STILL doesn't work, but at least I was able to withdraw money this afternoon by using a teller. AT LAST! *collapses and dies* I pulled out a huge amount just out of paranoia; at least George will now be able to keep a lunch date with a potential client tomorrow.

I'm deeply relieved. Thank you SO much to everyone who generously offered to help get us through this really tight financial period. I know we're doing pretty well off compared to a lot of people, but it bit hard, and we appreciate the kind thoughts and wishes.

Now I just have to dig through about 40 boxes to find the paperwork necessary to get the approximately $4000 BACK again.

Feeling a little bit better today, probably because of the relief from the money-related stress. Went to the DBT group this afternoon with a cake for one of the members who just had a birthday. She was very surprised and pleased, and everyone pitched in to pay for the cake.

Plan to spend most of this evening in bed, reading. The henna tattoo on my hand actually turned out not too badly. I even took photos.
