Just got back from my GP's office. He listened to my list of symptoms, then listened to my lungs, then sent me on my way with a 5-day prescription for Zithromax and orders not to go to Ipsos, or to exercise, until at least Monday.
I didn't tell him about Beltane in the Park. It simply didn't occur to me. Hopefully by Sunday I'll be well enough to carry it off without setting myself back. At this point, if I thought there was a chance in hell that another person could be found to take the High Priest role, I'd seriously consider handing it over... but if wishes were horses, beggars would ride, non?
On the positive side: in spite of not exercising for a week, I've lost another pound. :-)
Am currently spending quite a bit of time over at Spinchat, where I go by the handle prairiecrow. They've got some chat rooms and message boards, plus a blog and guestbook function when you sign up. Not too shabby, and it partially fills the hole left by Yahoo! Chat deciding to move ALL chat functions to Yahoo! Messenger, which of course doesn't allow group chat for thoseenlightened beknighted souls on a Mac platform. Bastards! I do miss the Yahoo! general Religion chat quite a bit.

scorpio16 will be phoning me from the U of M radio station to conduct an interview about the Beltane celebration. After that, if I have the energy, it's off to the Witches Meetup downtown. Wish me luck!
