When I woke George up at 6 pm, he coaxed me out to Niko's, which is just around the corner from our apartment, for a burger, fries, and salad. Then, because we couldn't find any appropriate cold/sinus medication at the Shell gas station, we hopped a bus up to the PharmaPlus where I was able to get a store-brand sinus medication combo pack, containing daytime and nighttime caplets and no sugar whatsoever. I just took a nighttime dose, and expect my brain to start melting out my ears any moment now.
I don't expect to make it to the DBT session tomorrow afternoon given how I'm feeling right now (congested, headachy, sore in the throat, burning muscles, and with skin so sensitive that putting on metal necklaces felt like a freezing ice pick being driven into the back of my neck). I have, however, made it up to the first panel of page 15 of The Eternals annual I'm processing (which is 34 pages long), and once that's done I'm through this latest bout of flatting for Marvel Masterworks. I should be able to get it done tomorrow if I work like a bunny.
Off to bed, to read for a while until the medication kicks in.
