Well, the Ritalin might actually be having an effect. *golf clap... yay!* Yesterday George suggested we go out for a walk and dinner in the early evening, and we ended up going to a local restaurant we'd never been to, a place called Civita. It specializes in wood-fired pizzas cooked in a clay oven, and features a lovely little hidden back patio overarched by lush trees; the food was amazing, including a Caesar salad uniquely presented (a grilled wedge of Romaine lettuce, yummm!) and a whole-wheat thin crust delicately flavored and topped with chicken, yellow peppers, onions, two kinds of cheese, and chunky tomato sauce. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be going back.
Afterwards we walked up Corydon to a mom-and-pop grocery store we'd also never been to, and were pleasantly surprised by both their wide selection and their prices. And all this, I had energy for. I actually enjoyed myself... and if you've been reading this journal for any length of time, you'll understand what a rare pleasure that is.

I'm glad for you, Crowdog. Your online "voice" sounds stronger and steady.

::Huggles Laurie:: Glad to hear that! I've been so worried about you lately, it was starting to pull me to bits (That's kinda why I hadn't been commenting much: I didn't want my worry to come through my words and trouble you more than you needed, poor dear). ::Grinning, applauding::
