Oh, these fuckers...

I get an email late last night basically saying: "Gee, sorry it's the weekend, but we need corrections on the color on four pages of the Hardy Boys graphic novel. By the way, it's already at the printer -- can you do them ASAP?"

*beats head against desk repeatedly*

Why this comes up NOW, as opposed to two weeks ago, is beyond me. Sure, the changes are from Simon & Shuster, but going to print without approval it just... GAH!

The pages are done, but one of them was a bitch-kitty. I'm invoicing them for an additional page of full color work. Still, my nerves didn't need this.

You work for Simon & Schuster? *awed*

And I hope things start calming down. *hugs* Last-minute assignments are a bitch to deal with.

Heh... thanks, both of you. NBM has been very silly in terms of how they're handling production, but very good about paying quickly. So, one balances the other...

Well, I work for a company that work for S&S, lol. Which is close. And thanks for the good wishes -- right now, I need 'em!
