Got back from this afternoon's session of the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy refresher course... *shivers, hugs self* It's hard going back and opening up, and seeing other people open up also. One inescapable conclusion: George and I are doing a lot right, because our relationship is in a helluva lot better shape than that of anyone else who's spoken up in group in many ways, including honesty, gentleness, humor, and communication.

And what should I find in our mailbox but my athame, shipped lo those many weeks ago? He's a real beauty -- bright, clean, sharp steel, double-edged and with cunning little embossings around the top and bottom of the hilt. All I have to do now is consecrate him, and I'm thinking about doing that (as well as the platen) a few days before the full moon ritual, possibly in the Munsen Park site. Northlight and Eastpath, would you be interested in accompanying me and taking part?

I was supposed to stop by the walk-in clinic downtown today, but ran out of time. The reason? Well, some of you might remember when I tripped and fell while running to leap onto a bus a couple of months back, badly croggling my shin in the process... a later visit to the doctor revealed that I'd ruptured a vein and damaged the surface nerve, and it now looks like the effects might be longer-term. I'm getting some fluid retention behind my ankles, but more obviously and annoyingly, I'm getting a tingling/wriggling/pressure sensation in the blood vessel that runs across the top of the foot, badly enough that it bothers me during the day and makes it hard to fall asleep at night. To me that suggests that things aren't draining upward the way they should. Grrrrrr!

Much moving and shaking on the Girl Genius front -- Phil and Kaja are abandoning the pamphlet (printed individual comic issue) format and going straight to a combination of web strip and graphic novel collections. They'll need the first pages for the web strip from me by April 18th, and will be producing the compilation in the third quarter of 2005. This takes significant pressure off of me in the next couple of weeks.

Now all I have to do is see how the new dose of Risperidol works in the next couple of weeks, and how that will affect my productivity...

EDIT: Oooh, I almost forgot -- Lindt 100g chocolate bunnies on at the local Pharmaplus for $1.49 CDN, which is ASTOUNDINGLY cheap. I bought a whole warren of the little buggers (six of them), which will keep me happy for a while considering that each rabbit is one whole meal in my diabetic plan. *licks lips and puts them in their hutch, to be culled at my leisure...*

heehee.. a whole warren of chocolate bunnies ;D

And yes. I'd be interested. I could consecrate my pendant at that time, and then my rune-stones at the ritual it self...

If NL can't come, I don't mind doing a two-fer ^_^

While still saving one or two for the full moon ritual itself? ;-)

Mmm.... Lindt and Godiva make the best chocolate in the world, though the latter costs considerably more... still, it's worth every penny!

Ahhh, don't tell me about chocolate bunnies! I'm on a healthy eating diet myself right now. I'm at day three right now so have to get through this..
