My final puchase on eBay for a while:
Whew... I've been trying to find a pair of these perfectly round John Lennon frames for years, and went through two eBay auctions that went too rich for my blood before landing these ones. The pair I currently have (which broke across the bridge and were recently repaired) are gold, but the last set of gold frames on eBay went for over $100 US, so I decided that this tortoiseshell frame at $49 US was a much better bargain.
Working on Girl Genius, and fighting constant waves of panic attack. Why? I don't know. I'm trying to keep in mind how fast and successful I was on the Hardy Boys job, but for some reason GG is almost crippling me with fear. Part of it is because I'm so far behind schedule (partially because of NBM, partially because George's editor also fucked him over and I ended up having to do assists for him on Breakdown), and I feel hideously guilty, even though Phil and Kaja are going to a web comic/graphic novel format and the previous deadline has evaporated... not only that, but Phil doesn't even have the entire book to me yet. >.< Part of it is because these pages are very complicated and simply take more time to flat and paint. *sighs, and tries to unwind the barbed wire that constantly seeks to entangle me*
