Myself and my husband, actually, this afternoon.

Dr. S. has upped my Remeron dose by 15 mg. If it's going to work, I should start feeling better in a week or two. In the meantime I'm still off Ipsos and feeling like twelve miles of bad road.

Well, at least I still have work to do. Blah. Everybody at the studio has gnawed their fingers down to the second knuckle over the Star Wars deadline. Actually, I'm the one who's the least behind the 8-ball, but the tension is still quite unpleasant.

[livejournal.com profile] he_dreams_awake, apologies for not replying to your IM just now -- I jumped on to AIM to check if someone (who posted an inquiry in their LJ asking if I was okay) was online, went away long enough to make some coffee, came back to the machine, and signed off pretty much as soon as I saw that they weren't. I'm just not up to talking to anyone right now.

In positive news, George and I picked up a Flower Power iMac for my mother off of eBay for a song. Better: it was being sold by someone right here in Winnipeg, so we just cabbed over and picked it up.

Isn't it pretty? 500 mHz processor, 20 GB hard drive, 192 MB RAM... for all the hours of pleasure it will provide, it might well be one of the best Christmas gifts my mother will ever receive. The thought of putting together a nice list of bookmarks to start her off is one of the few things that can make me smile right now.

Those Flower Power Macs have theeeee funkiest colors, LOL! I remember when they first came out. They were the most bizzare thing on the market...
