Dear Goddess:
Tonight two friends needed my words. Please, let me have given them the right ones.
Bold Morrigan, raven-haired Goddess of battle whose province is endings, please -- let me have used just enough force, and not too much, to help a friend cut the cords that bind her to despair and fear. Sometimes other people need to wound us before we can see. Sometimes we need to bleed in order to heal. I felt Your hand guide my words tonight. Even if she ends up hating me for what I said in honesty, if it helps her, it was worth it. I'd give up her friendship in an instant, as deeply as that would wound me, if it meant helping her find her way back to the light.
Gentle Brigid, fire-haired Goddess of the forge whose province is creation, please -- let me have given reassurance eloquently. Let me have shown that it is no weakness to desire to be "weak" (if the simple need to be heard can be so uncharitably called). Ears are open; arms are open, even if they be virtual; kindness flows from heart to heart, and compassion answers compassion. Please, let me words be heard.

Also, thanks for the offer to bring over the Matrix 10-CD set and/or have tea. Both or either sound so good right now. Unfortunately two factors are messing up this week for me -- the apartment looks like a bomb hit it, and I'm still painting Star Wars flats (though that might soon change... don't ask, it's fairly brutal, and if it happens, you and the entire continent will hear me screaming about it). What's the weekend looking like for you?
