To rephrase an old filk from my days as a fanzine editor, to the tune of "America the Beautiful":

"Oh beautiful, the issue's done,
I think that I might cry!
It's been a week since I had sleep,
Just show me where to lie.
And if when it is pubbed and mailed
Some typos should appear,
Believe you me, for what I see
I will not shed a tear."

Thank yew and goodnight.

Woo-hoo!! I know that feeling: I used to edit a teeny-tiny science fiction magazine for Catholics a few years back; I had to give it up since I was losing money on it and as small as it was, producing each issue was tiring, especially since I was pretty much working on my own.

I havn't done a **LOT** of editor related stuff, but there were two jobs I did where there was a deadline and the work drove me NUTS! I did get the work in, after an extre 3 days extention, and the guy se4emed to be thrilled with what I did. Then there was the comisioned volunteer work I did for the Manitoba Breast Cancer society. I worked my ass of on that!

Crow-Joe.. how do you do it without going ape crap bonkers? I envy you!
