December 23rd: Massive Rare Egg Drop

On Tuesday, December 23rd, be prepared to be blown away by a rare and spectacular event happening right here.

We have gathered a list of participants to join us in sending away rare eggs and rare hatchlings to the abandon page. The AP will be lit up with golds, silvers, chickens, alts, papers and dinos!

This is the best chance for you to grab the elusive rare egg/hatchling that you have always wanted.

*Departure Time will be announced once we have finalized the schedule.
The sending off will be carried out almost simultaneously within a given time period.

So, make room in your scroll, practice your clicking reflexes and camp out on the AP. You don't want to miss this!

This is an effort to get a whole LOT of people to grab those dropped rare eggs and fill their scrolls with the merry awesomeness - only for the Christmas egg to come out the next day and all the people who dropped can get them all, and all the people who grabbed the AP rares will have no room for the christmas eggs

Yeah, that had occurred to me. Either that or it's an attempt to crash the DragCave servers as hundreds and hundreds of people overwhelm the site with clicks.

I haven't seen it crash yet, I've seen it get so slow that I could feel my skin growing, but never crash.. LOL :)

I'm not grabbing, I'm waiting for the christmas egg... hopefully I can nab one :D

Meh. That's why we shouldn't get greedy. And it IS supposed to be fun and a game, after all ;). Who knows, maybe it IS just to be nice? To allow for the rares to get grabbed by people that normally don't have a chance?
