I have been a weather buff and especially a hurricane buff since the age of 5. I collect images of tropical storms from all over the world - radar, satellite, whatever I can get.

Yes, they're destructive and dangerous, not to mention expensive, and my heart goes out to anyone unfortunate enough to live in the path of one. I truly wish that they would all veer out to sea and cause no one any harm, but even so, they're incredibly beautiful and mysterious - divine works of art, if you will.
