"Friends" list change, meds, and Keycon 21

Well, I've had to take the kittypix group of of my "displayed on the Friends page" list -- there are simply too many posts, drowning out the entries of my non-community Friends. I think I'll add it to the Links visible on my LJ page, though, when I've got a spare moment.

I've been on several days of reduced nortryptiline dosage, and am emotionally very raw, inflamed, irritated, and impulsive. Sucks, sucks, sucks. I'm pretty uneasy about the concept of going down one MORE tablet, but in order for me to shift onto another antidepressant it has to be done.

Tomorrow (later today?) I'll be off to a day of Keycon 21 -- a day of fun with 300 or so other science fiction fans, with panels, publicity stunts, a costume competition and dance, and hospitality suites hosted by local clubs... one of which, I hear tell, will be offering a WHOLE roasted pig early Saturday night to anyone who wants some, absolutely for free.

The $35-or-so one day entry fee would be worth it for that alone... <-- loves roast piggy!

I remember when they were increasing my paxil dosage. It was "here we go round the symptoms bush" for a good few months. Finally stabalized the dose, but it was a roller coaster ride for a while. Sending you lots of good thoughts and energy :)

I had to leave kittypix for the same reasons, too bad, it looked like a nice community but things were just getting too crowded on my friends lists too.

Thanks for the thoughts/energy -- I'll take all the help I can get!!!

I didn't leave kittypix entirely -- just changed the option on my Manage > Friends page so it didn't show up in my own Friends listing. I'm still a dedicated member! (Can't have too many pics of cute kitties...) :-)
