Breakfast, at noon, was eggs and sausages and mixed vegetables, with buttered toast and coffee. Emmie, of course, got a tiny piece of sausage, and spent the next five minutes licking her lips in superb satisfaction. (Mina has never really caught on to the fact that she can eat people food if she wants to, which is a mercy -- it means one less shameless beggar in the house.)

In other cat-related news... there's just enough space behind the TV stand, apparently, for two cats to have a fight and disconnect the cable.

CATS: "Rorwr! HISSSSSS! *whap whap WHAP!*"
TV SCREEN: *static hiss*
ME AND GEORGE: "EMMIE! MINA!"
CATS: *peer around the edges of the stand with wide and innocent eyes*

We reconnected the cable and it's all good.

A bit of Internet surfing and then back to work on MM, which is starting to feel a bit like building one of the pyramids -- a matter of neverending toil.

Haha--your cats sound adorable!

Well, look--if it's any consolation, the pyramids have stood for over 4,000 years now...

Good point in the above comment :) Strong work sometimes means pushing through a time of low production. *hugs*

Ran into Corey on the bus, he says hi :D
