I've been stepping down my Nortriptyline dosage over the last three days, as part of my doctor's plan to get me from six 25 mg tablets to no tablets in ten-day increments, and start me on Effexor at the 20 day mark (when I go from 4 Nortriptyline a day to 3)... and I'm already feeling the drag. I couldn't go to work today, and crawled into bed mid-afternoon to spend a few hours hiding from my own misery. Shit... if this keeps up, I might have to go back up to the full dosage, and try to figure something else out with my physician. I can't live, much less work, like this.
On the positive side, our local sci-fi convention will be happening this weekend. I hope to be able to carve several hours free this Saturday afternoon and evening to go see the costume competition and wander the various hospitality suites visiting friends I only see once a year. Hopefully I'll be in a condition to enjoy it.
