I spent all this evening preparing the stuff that I'm sending out to my friends in the States (you know who you are) and addressing the packages. Hopefully they like what I'm sending.

Doubt and depression are eating away at the edges of me like acid. George has been asleep since 4 pm, so I've been alone, which hasn't helped matters any.

The rice is done in the rice cooker and I've put on coffee for him; he should be getting up any minute, at which point we'll cook up some hamburger patties and mixed veg. I have no appetite, but I know that I have to keep eating or I'll only make things worse.

Tomorrow... I'm not sure what I'll do. Get those packages mailed out, definitely. Whether I'll have the juice to also go out to Pet Value and get more food for Mina (Eukanuba Chicken & Rice Adult Formula hard food) is a different matter. Perhaps I can prevail upon George to do it for me, but I doubt it. He'll be working all night and into the morning, and will be pretty much non compos mentis by late morning.

Oh, and I have a murderous backache. Started a couple of hours ago. Hope it's nothing serious.

I can hear George out in the hallway. Dinner, and then bed.
