Sad day, but productive

We had the first Beltane in the Park meeting this afternoon, which went well. The ritual is pieced out start to finish, and we decided that we would indeed be having the Pagan Park Pickup event where contestants competed for prizes by seeing who could do the most to clean up the landscape (around here, Pagans like to try to leave our outdoor places of worship cleaner than we found them).

Eastpath, however, did not show up for the meeting. What happened? :-(

Also, I got an antibiotic for the nagging chest congestion and cough that have plagued me the last couple of days (almost didn't make it through my shift at I-R last night). Some pages of flats have been dropped into my lap, so the $400+ I can earn this weekend painting them will at least take the most painful edge off of the moving bill we're facing.

Lingering sadness... life without Micawber, in this demolished apartment, seems surreal and almost nightmarish. Probably doesn't help that I'm so sick and weary in general. :-P

I *KNEW* I should have sent myself an email or a reminder or something. I just knew something would happen and I would forgot.

I woke up well after 12pm. I *TOTALLY* and completly forgot about it.

I forgot a bunch of things today.... I got to work for 3, and I'm lucky I did that...
