eibhleann13 and I went to India Palace, a local East Indian restaurant. We had the $12.99 all-you-can-eat buffet.
Oh.
My.
FREAKING.
God!
The food was absolutely amazing. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy Indian cuisine -- Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, beef curry, chickpea curry, mixed vegetables, and basmati rice. I had two platefuls, followed up by a cup of spicy tea made with evaporated milk; when it was all over, I practically had to be rolled out the door, I was so full. And the goodness didn't stop there, since I also ordered some basmati rice with peas and some chicken curry to go, for later noshing.
I went to bed early and slept very late today. And you'll never guess what I had for breakfast... ;-)
