Apparently most of the city was blanketted in smoke last nght. Stubble burning. Oh, joy. So my neighbors are off the hook...

George and I worked until about 5 am to wrap up a coloring job for his European publisher, and finally collapsed for a few hours of sleep before we had to drag ourselves out of bed again. I actually got a fair amount done today: first a trip to Dollarama (to pick up votive candle holders and tealights for the Winnipeg Humane Society memorial on Monday), then paying our phone bill and picking up painkillers at Shoppers Drug Mart, and then meeting George at St. Vital Centre to see The Simpsons Movie (hilarious). We went for a nice dinner at Moxie's Classic Grill beforehand and treated ourselves to a cab home afterwards. It was a good mental break, particularly after so many days of keeping on top of the Misty Gardens situation.

In the dark of the restaurant, I managed to bark my arm quite smartly on a projecting wooden edge; it's probably going to hurt like a bitch-kitty tomorrow. But for now I'm feeling pretty good.

Tomorrow: last-minute memorization before the wedding and picking up supplies for the altar.

Speaking of the wedding... I'm off work now at 3 pm that day... when/where do I have to go for the reception or .. I can't exactly remember what I was slated to go to.. LOL It will just be me for that. Stay tuned to work schedule in a few as soon as I find my purse. :)

I'll get you a ticket tomorrow (if necessary I'll slip it under your door). I'm pretty sure it has all the instructions on it.

So much to do and so little time to do it...
