Today I was introduced to the wonderful world of Bill Schnoebelen. It started with a thread on Yahoo!Answers about a book he's written called "Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie", and that led to a website outlining Schnoebelen's various claims to being a Freemason, a witch, "(a) Satanic and Voodoo High Priest, 2nd degree Church of Satan, New Age guru, occultist, channeler, 90th degree Mason, Knight Templar, and a member of the Illuminati". No, I'm not making that up. And apparently he was several of them at the same time.
*headdesk*
In any case, it made for an entertaining diversion in an otherwise pretty sucky afternoon.

On the other hand, if he ever gets tired of selling religious snake oil, he's got one heck of an imagination and has a bright future writing fiction ahead of him.
No...wait...he's already writing fiction. Never mind.

This is beautiful. Thank you. I had been missing WinterRose's silly hodgepodge, and here you've presented me with a male substitute with non-Disney related fixations. :D

Allow me to explain...my step-brother and I used to make fun of the military recruitment ads on TV when we were teenagers. One of our favourites was the one for the Marine Corps, "The few, the proud, the Marines." We made up our own ad for an idea we had about a super-ultra-macho-elite cadre: The Double-Marines. "The few. The proud. The fifteen. The Double-Marines. We don't really need you, but what the heck?"
