Just a quick note of update...
1) The AI RP, part 1: It turns out the posts from A. didn't include anything inflammatory... she still wants to be part of the game but can't guarantee her availability for evening chat sessions. I've told her via the list that while running a regular PC without attending the chat sessions is pretty much impossible, she could run a series of NPCs, minor villains and heroes, in any chat sessions she IS able to attend. Haven't heard back from her on that yet.
Also, I received SO many posts here, and letters in my inbox, of support for my course of action in dealing with A. Thanks, guys! :-) You're the best, and it made my job a lot easier.
2) The AI RP, part 2: Tomorrow night (Wednesday) is Session 21 (I think) of the Main Game chat. Wahoo!
Oh, crap... :-O... I have I sent out the chat logs of the last session to all the players? AHHHHH!
3) Work: I've gotten more pages to flat from C., the artist here in Winnipeg who's passing me work, which is great news since Ipsos-Reid might be giving me short shifts for the next couple of weeks.
4) Moving: Glancing through the Renter's Guide, it looks like there are certainly apartments available in our price range and at the size we want. Now we just have to get out there and start really looking.
5) Beltane: March 1st will be the "two months and counting" mark... gotta get in touch with H., the other Wiccan who stepped forward to volunteer at last year's Beltane, and meet to discuss our strategy. Quite a few people have offered to take parts in the ritual, and I have a "tickle trunk" full of robes, so THAT, at least, should go well.
Running off to keep painting... and to a book launch for H., the Wiccan Elder who gave me my first lessons in the religion, later this evening.
