Since I didn't get any more Marvel corrections yesterday, I ended up spending a good portion of the evening watching A.I.: Artificial Intelligence for the fifteenth time. And all I can say is...

Wow.

So much luminous imagery. So much that speaks to the subconscious. Such beauty (including Jude Law as the lovely, bawdy, and ultimately enigmatic Gigolo Joe). Such subtle and amazing acting. Plus an ending that still brings tears to my eyes every single time I watch it.

he_dreams_awake, if you haven't seen this movie yet, you simply MUST. I have no idea whether you'll like it, love it, or hate it (it's a flawed work, though audacious in its vision), but parts of it will certainly speak to you.

Viewing it again has renewed my fiery vision for the A.I. RP that I was running a bit over a year ago, but which died out when my schedule grew too hectic and my fannish attention shifted to the Matrix universe. I think I'll fire it up again, provided the players are still interested and willing.
