*tries to get the music from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum out of my head, and fails*

There'll be nine people coming over tonight -- my God, I don't have enough chairs for all of them. Looks like I'll have to turn the coffee table into a bench, which hasn't been necessary for a good few months. I have a table out on the back porch and another small, round table that will have to serve for holding people's drinks... alternatively, I might just leave the coffee table as a table and have a couple of us find seats on the floor... [livejournal.com profile] cockatiel_art usually goes for the floor option anyway, and I don't mind it so much myself.

Forgot to get coffee filters and paper plates yesterday, so I'll have to run out and grab them today. Bugger. I was hoping to be able to stay inside and (once I've cleaned the place up a little) just work on Uncanny X-Men until folks arrived. Oh, well -- maybe the Shell station has them, and it's literally just around the corner.

Trying desperately to wake up (coffee and morning dose of Ritalin and Cytomel), but damn, it's a slow start. *yawn*

Tonight's workings will be a binding/severing spell and some candle magic. Sometimes magic has a habit of echoing backward in time if you put the right spin on it, and I've already set things in motion on the severing spell: as a result, it seems to be taking effect already, even though the actual working hasn't occurred yet. Plus... well. I'll be dealing with the Morrigan tonight, which always makes me a little apprehensive. She is not a kindly Goddess, and though I always approach Her with caution and reverence there's a certain level of danger present. But for this sort of working She is exactly the kind of energy to call upon.

We'll see how it goes.

Now I've got "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" stuck in my head! Not a bad thing to have in there...

Good luck with the rituals tonight, wish I would have RSVP'd.

I would assume Shell has paper plates and coffee filters. Your lucky to live so close to a convenience store, all we have here in the North End are little corner stores that rip you off and dont offer much selection. Shell is 2 blocks away and 7-11 is nowhere to be seen.

Blessed Be till we meet again.
