Up an hour later than usual, with a sore back, a sore neck, and a moderately sore head. At least my nausea seems to have abated and the little red spots all over my body are fuzzing out and fading away.
Last night's dose of Sleep-Eze D (which is actually an antihistamine in spite of its common use as a sleep aid) didn't have that much of a sedative effect on me. In fact, I lay awake tossing an turning for about an hour after I went to bed, and sleep didn't come easily. Dammit, I was looking forward to getting some good solid sleep today -- curse my (apparantely) iron constitution!
Morning blood sugars are a little elevated from what I'd been seeing the previous three days. A number of factors could account for that: yesterday's stress, a resurgence of whatever infection is inhabiting my body, the large meal I ate last night. It looks like I'll be testing every four hours today to make sure I don't enter the danger zone. Perhaps I can get in a bit of exercise later today.
Breakfast is on the stove: a can of Chunky chicken noodle soup with some rice mixed in from last night's chicken fiesta platter. The thought of eating doesn't exactly thrill me but at least I'm not actively averse to the notion.
Not sure how much I'll be up to doing today. Assuming I'm not sleeping, I'll probably spend the day organizing DegSep chat logs, peering around on the Internet, and maybe -- just maybe -- trying some MM clean up.
And hey, look -- I've already wasted time on my first quiz!
