I am a very happy fangirl today...

Last night George and I went to spend the evening with chimera452 and her family. We had delicious ham and bean soup, some great conversation, and received a couple of really excellent Christmas presents. George got a DVD of Popeye cartoons from the 1950s, and I got the Knight Rider Season 1 DVD compilation, which comes with the Knight Rider 2000 movie as one of the extras.

I haven't squeeeed! that loud and that long in many, many years. Yes, it turns out I'm still a Knight Rider geek at heart. I just finished watching "Trust Doesn't Rust"... ah, memories of my misspent fannish youth!

For the first time in months...

For the first time in months, I exercised this evening. It wasn't much -- eight minutes of step aerobics warm-up -- but it's a start.

If I can just keep doing that consistently over the next week or two, I can start increasing the workout length.
