Thanks to nightdog_barks, I am now a PAID account holder.

100 user pics. 100 GB of storage space. The ability to upload pics to LJ and customize the look of my journal. In short, a whole boatload of cool stuff.

100 userpics... where do I begin?

I thought I'd start my new userpic era out with a bang. *points at icon* See pretty girl. See pretty girl shoot gun. Bang! Bang! Bang! Animation goooooooooood.

I'm just inordinately tickled about this whole business. I'm up to 45 userpics already, and will be trotting them out over the next few days for folks to admire. There are several broad catagories -- The Matrix, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, Goddesses/religion, cats, and humor -- so brace yourselves for a cornucopia of icon delight!

An excuse for another icon: today's update!

... and yes, the cat and dog ARE doing what you think they're doing. Hey, I never said my icons would always be in the best of taste. ;-)

I guess I still have a touch of the flu (and I know George does) because we both slept in until 4 pm AGAIN. It was just as well, since the insurance agent couldn't fit us in today anyway, but we have an ironclad appointment for 10 am tomorrow morning. So, Perkins/shopping/etc will be carried out then.

Last night's ritual was short but effective, as we charged candles with solar energy and celebrated the return of more and more sunlight in days to come. Leigh-Anne was kind enough to give me a ride there and back, which enabled me to attend (I wouldn't have risked bussing it in the cold with traces of flu still upon me), and we feasted mightily afterwards on homemade macaroni and cheese, salad, and Christmas baking of various descriptions.

I'm considering trying to get some work done tonight, but am not sure I can be arsed. Perhaps some more of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is in order, or simply lying around watching TV. Or chatting on AIM. Or combing the net for even MORE icons.

We'll see.
