*perks up a little*

Been up for about an hour and a half, and two cups of coffee and a Ritalin tablet have vastly improved my mood. Now I can actually contemplate leaving the house to go to the drug store, when the thought would have reduced me almost to tears when I first dragged my head off of the pillow this morning.

Because my sleep/wake schedule was so screwed up yesterday after working all night the previous evening, I forgot to take my Ritalin -- and boy, did I ever feel the impact! Not QUITE as bad as I thought it would be, but I was still very draggy.

George suggested we go out and see Batman Begins tonight at the Silver City cineplex at Polo Park. Mmm, nice comfy seats and a big big screen... and air conditioning, which, considering that the thermometer is expected to top 35 degrees Celcius today (not even including the humidex), sounds really good. :-) (Our own air conditioner, BTW, is working perfectly. *smiles with pure relief*)

Off to putter about the Net for a bit, then get dressed and head on out.
