Gone for 72 hours (more or less) and medical news

Well, I'm off to a local toy and hobby trade show tomorrow. While I'll be coming home to sleep at night, that's probably all I'll have energy for! These things tend to take it out of one.

I'll be taking the G4 with me to work on Girl Genius all weekend (demonstrating comic coloring techniques for the masses). No rest for the wicked? No kidding!

And some baddish medical news. A recent set of blood tests came up high on blood sugar and cholesterol. I'm looking at diabetes, if the second set of tests comes back positive, and also possibly high cholesterol that I'll have to control with diet.

*sigh* I resolve to stuff myself with fatty, sugary goodness on the convention's tab all weekend long. Onward!
