Well, I'm off to a local toy and hobby trade show tomorrow. While I'll be coming home to sleep at night, that's probably all I'll have energy for! These things tend to take it out of one.

I'll be taking the G4 with me to work on Girl Genius all weekend (demonstrating comic coloring techniques for the masses). No rest for the wicked? No kidding!

And some baddish medical news. A recent set of blood tests came up high on blood sugar and cholesterol. I'm looking at diabetes, if the second set of tests comes back positive, and also possibly high cholesterol that I'll have to control with diet.

*sigh* I resolve to stuff myself with fatty, sugary goodness on the convention's tab all weekend long. Onward!

I could get it too, it runs in my family I know the stresses of that. *HUGS*

I wish I could come out but I just don't have the energy. *sigh* I'm so zapped after moving, and having to go back to work I hate. I need a major life adjustment, and it's scaring me. *sigh*

I may not be online much this weekend myself: I'm elbow-deep in a new sci-fi short story and trying to keep that down to a reasonable size!

Man. That's a Bugger! The thing with Diabetes and Cholesterol is that the two ALWAYS go hand in hand. It's been said you can't have diabetes and low cholesterol. I have high cholesterol and I don't cook with any oil, butter, etc. The only thing I eat at home with cholesterol are eggs. Wee.... My mom would have normal cholesterol if SHE wasn't diabetic!

I don't know if it's been suggested to you by the doctor, but the DEC (Diabetic Education Center) at the Heath Sciences center is awsome. I go there time to time to catch up on new Diabetic diet. Takes a few months to get in and see them, tho. But they're good. Very very, good!

If you need any help, hun, I'm here :-) . Adjusting to carb counting is a pain at first! **bats evil carbs over the head with a 2x4**
