Today's DBT session was a bitch and a half: I just wasn't really "present" and found everything miserably depressing. *sigh* But I got out and got through it, which is something, I suppose.
Got home, had dinner, and on sheer impulse opened up my altar and started digging around inside. Threw out a lot of old candles and such, AND ended up with a whole box full of stuff to give away that I'm just not using anymore. Some of the items are quite trivial (candleholders, stones, etc), but others were fairly high-ticket (a Stonehenge incense burner, a deck of Angel oracle cards). I intend to throw the box open for folks to take what they like/need from this Sunday and next Saturday, but am seriously considering putting some of the items on eBay if I can, or at the very least suggesting that if people feel a contribution is in order for what they get, all monies donated will go into a "Full Moon Expenses" envelope for use in buying supplies for the monthly events. Or is that too greedy? *frets*
I don't feel at all right in my own skin at the moment. :-(
On the other hand, exercise clearly helps my blood sugar levels. My five hour fasting level before exercise: 9.6. After exercise: 7.7. Two hours later: 10.1.
Going to have a nice hot cup of tea and read more of Persuasions of the Witch's Craft: Ritual Magic in Contemporary England, by T. M. Luhrmann.

And I'm out of sorts as well tonight... must be something in the air...
