Tonight was the monthly Witches Meetup; seven people attended, and as usual good discussions were had by all. The question came up about where to get good Pagan music locally, with the general consensus being that it just wasn't there to be found. Peer-to-peer Internet clients like Limewire and Cabo were suggested as ways to find Pagan music, and I must say I endorse them, because that is where I've gotten the majority of the music in my personal collection (other than the Emerald Rose CD that [livejournal.com profile] beckyh2112 gave me for Christmas).

I've been thinking about what to do for the New Moon ritual coming up this Saturday, and decided to put off the house blessing rite because George and I will be moving out of here within a few months tops. Instead we'll hold a healing ritual for Emmie (yep, still stapled!), and possibly a meditation suitable to the dark of the moon. I'm also considering using the regular Diana-and-stag statue (white resin) from Full Moon practice, but draping it in translucent black fabric to suggest the veiling of the moon's light at this point of the month. I'll have to come up with a suitable approach to invocations to match if I decide to go that route.

Did step exercise today, but only the warm-up segment since a) I haven't done it in a few days (bad crowdog! no biscuit!) and b) I made the mistake of eating some peanuts before hand, which ended up sitting in my stomach like a protein cannon ball. Man, is it hard to keep up the momentum to do the exercise every single day but one out of the week!

And I've made arrangements to have [livejournal.com profile] he_dreams_awake actually call me on Sunday; I should have an hour or so to chat before I need to head off to Jeff's game later that afternoon. This is a big step for me, because I've always been afraid of disappointing him and letting him down, and that's kept me from moving deeper into a friendship with him, Trin, and of course Asshat. But I have to swallow my fear at some point, so we'll see how it goes.
