There is only one ray of joy in our household right now... and that's from George, who is taking some tiny measure of comfort in the fact that I'm feeling even worse than he is. Let's hear it for schadenfreude!
While my lungs and sinuses have cleared up somewhat (a fact that I'm downplaying for George's benefit; see above), the dragging exhaustion and general malaise linger. I didn't get up until after 3 pm today, much too late to go to the doctor. I'll try again tomorrow. Right now I just feel so sick, sweaty, sniffly, dirty, and generally hopeless that all I can seem to do is lie on the couch and drink hot coffee/tea, or update LJ -- neither of which is getting any work done, which is what I had HOPED to do in these days leading up to Christmas. My editor is going to be looking for my head... and frankly, he can have it, as stuffed-up and achy as it currently is.
Oh, and a quick note to Becca, Puck, and MR -- I haven't gotten any of you a Christmas present yet, at least not that I can recall. *weeps* And I'm not sure I'll be up to doing any shopping in the next few days. Will you all settle for a New Years gift instead?

I have no problems waiting for things in the mail. It gives me something to look forward to. *grins*
