What's an oil warmer for, exactly? It seems like it should be self-explanitory, but I don't quite get it.

You put oil in the glass bowl on top, and the heat chimney from the candle underneath warms it and causes it to evaporate, diffusing the scent.

Think of it as a low-tech version of those Glad plug-ins. ;-)

Ah, very nice.

Been thinking (somewhat) about your suggestion that I perform my own Christian ceremonies. I think I might try that when I can find a space that I can consistently use for rituals. I'm a rather private person, and my dorm, unfortunately, does not allow the use of candles.
