Last night I ended up going out for a walk with George after all. About an inch and a half of snow was on the ground, and still falling heavily in clumps of flakes -- so beautiful against the streetlights, though the dampness on the ground got into the hole in the sole of my right runner and my foot was thoroughly soaked by the time we got back. It was not terribly cold, but I had dug out my parka and was bundled up tight, flinching at every piece of snow that impacted my face... nothing like George, who was bare-headed and had his face turned upward, smiling and full of high spirits. He loves snow; it just makes him happy. :-)

Slept with the bedroom window open last night, under that heavy blanket I mentioned in my last post. Delightful, to be so warm and breathing crisp, cold air.

Today: yes... more Hardy Boys! Oh, huzzah!

Tonight: carving a couple of hours out of my schedule to go to a Shrine of Diana meeting, which is being held at a coffee shop just up the street. [livejournal.com profile] eastpath, this might interest you -- Roca Jacks has changed its name, at the very least. George and I noticed it last night when we walked up to the 7/11... it's called something like "Interval" or "Interrum", but still looks like it's a coffee shop of some description. I'm betting they've added internet service. Guess I'll find out later tonight.
