Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
Okey-dokey, here we go-key...
1. Cats: I just love 'em. :-) Soft, strong, graceful, alien, and able to purr... what's not to like? Their psychology and biology fascinates me, and I can't imagine a time in my future life when I will not be caring for at least one.
2. Girl Genius: I used to be the regular colorist on this comic, and while I'm no longer working on it, I still highly recommend it.
3. Neo/Smith: As in, Matrix slash. "Opposites attract", as they say, and both actors are so charismatic that the thought of getting the characters together just tweaks me. I currently play both Neo and Smith on the Degrees of Separation roleplaying community, and have endless fun with them in anything from a PG-13 to an NC-17 context. Rrrrow!
4. Witch: As you probably know by now, I am one. Witchcraft is a system of magic that relies largely on sympathetic correspondences and the theory that all objects in the universe are connected by the same web of interlocking energies, which means that by applying pressure at one point, you can cause changes at another point which might seem quite far removed from where you started. It appeals to me intuitively, and I've done some spells that seemed to have quite a dramatic effect; in any case, it can be a very useful psychological tool.
And that is it. I only had 20 interests. ;-)
