For the record: I am going to haul our G4 out to the nearest lake, tie a couple of concrete blocks to it, and throw it a superhuman distance. SPLASH! *blub blub blub blub*

The damned thing is freezing in Photoshop, and dots (of the sort usually associated with SCSI errors, except the G4 doesn't use SCSI) are appearing in the pages I'm flatting for Chris. I'm getting system bombs, address errors, bus errors, and illegal instruction dialogue boxes; I've changed extension sets twice; I'm getting the "flashing Mac folder" icon on startup, and running DiskWarrior doesn't seem to be helping. Next step: TechTool Pro. Though at this point, suffering as I am through a really bad day for depression and self-injury urges as it is, I'm not holding out much hope.

People who claim to be searching for peace and enlightenment generally don't have the time to flame fanfiction. But then we already know that enightenment and peace are not really what your cult group is trying to achieve.

Perhaps you should change your stategy.

We live in a very difficult time.

Year 2005 started with death of almost half a million humans in Asia. But it’s not only in Asia – people die every minute all across the world. People die from war, disease, hunger. And not only the adults – the children as well.

And not only humans are the ones who suffer - the animals all over the world are being abused and killed - lots of rare animal species no longer exist, wiped out from the face of this planet.

This morning, the Al-Quaida made new terror threats to London and United States. How many more people will have to die? When will this madness end?

Today in this world, we are too egocentric – we think about our own well-being before the well-being of others. We are so busy with reaching the top of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs that we forget those who are helpless, those who are left behind.

And it’s not about donating $1.000.000 to Save the Children or Red Cross. It’s not about dedicating your lives to charity. It’s about doing what you can. It's about doing something. Anything.

It’s not about how much you give or how often you give. It’s about the will to help. The will to save this planet. Starting today. Turn your heart to kindness. Encourage people to help humanity instead of wasting your time on negativity.
