Yesterday's "a few hours in bed" turned into all night and most of this morning. For some reason, yesterday's test REALLY took it out of me. I slept like the dead.
George got me up at about 11 am, my strained muscles from yesterday's treadmill workout mildly complaining, and we walked two blocks down to Bread and Circuses, a local bakery/cafe. A couple of sandwiches and bowls of African Split Pea Soup later, we walked another block to Whodunnit Books, where George spent the $50 he received as a birthday gift from my mother on Judge Dee mystery novels, and I was able to find another two volumes in the "Howdunnit" series, one about private investigators and one about con men.
And most of the time, it rained. But today I did not find that depressing. ^_^
Now, on to Girl Genius with a cup of swiss chocolate almond coffee by my side and the candle burning on the studio altar. The last couple of pages posted to the web have looked really really good. I'm currently painting page 26 of 30, so I think I'll actually be able to finish the run of this on schedule.

Don't know if you've heard the crisis-drama that Trin and I went through, that culminated in me getting beaten up by the cops because I would not abandon her... worth a read, if at least for a grimace of bitter amusement. We're okay now: we made it.
*wince* Ahh, the deja vu.
Love you, still, and nothing I said has ever changed: we're here. 360-340-8090, day or night.

Right now I need to concentrate on my own life and getting things straight in my head and heart, but that doesn't mean that you guys aren't in my thoughts. Once I've got enough momentum built up internally (hopefully the new medication will keep burning brightly), I can turn my energy to larger pursuits. Until then, I just need to conserve my resources, and concentrate on the small pleasures that life affords me.
Still keeping an eye on things at your end, and reading your posts every day. ^_^

And in our hearts every day, of course.
