After my last post I crawled back into bed and took refuge in the wonderful realm of sleep, taking the phone with me. Dr. Simm phoned at shortly after 5 pm, and concurred that I should stop the birth control pills immediately. Joooooyyyyyyy!
I tossed and turned for a while longer before actually getting up, feeling a *gasp* little bit better. The way I'm up and down, reacting with random fits of aversion to various kinds of simulation, it feels like the Risperdol (antipsychotic) might be the med that's getting screwed up in this equation, since it's the one that moderates my sensitivity to stimuli and makes living less painful. When I was out walking (yep, I actually managed to get in four blocks today), it also occurred to me that perhaps keeping the Risperdol in the new pill-minder I picked up might not be the greatest idea. It might be a medication that needs to be kept in its tightly-sealed little bottle until used. Tonight all the Risp tablets go back to their original home!
*sigh* Still can't concentrate enough to get any work done. Dammit. At least I'm a week ahead of the schedule on Girl Genius; Phil and Kaja shouldn't start poking me for more pages until next Tuesday or Wednesday.
