Pumping away on Girl Genius; I'm up to 15 pages of true color flats (half the current issue, which would take us up to May 20th once I've got the pages finished), and am currently painting Page 11. Kaja has up to page 10 (which will take care of Monday, May 9th). *breathes deeply and tries not to panic*
At least Friday is George's last day of teaching, at which point he'll be able to give me an assist on the GG pages, when he's not busy inking Albion for Wildstorm.
Finding reasons to get out and walk... *sigh*. Today I took the first large batch of Albion pages down to the local FedEx drop-off point, then walked up to the Pharmaplus and mailed of Phil and Kaja's copies of the CD's for Girl Genius #11-13. Total walking distance: four blocks. Hey, at least it's something.
Bad news on the Graffiti Art Gallery front: they won't be paying George for the teaching gig until NEXT Friday, which means the rent might have to slide until May 13th. However, I am about to invoice the Foglios for the first ten pages of GG #14, which will be a cool $750 US. I intend to ask that they FedEx it to us, taking a bite out of the cheque but getting it into our hands quicker. How very frustrating! We have so much money owed to us, and all of it in transit. >.<
Today at 4:30 I got home, painted a bit of page 11, looked at my state of mind, and packed up my goodies and went to bed. George woke me up at 6:45 just in time to get something on my stomach and take some medication. I'm seriously considering just going back to bed, because I feel more than a little toasted right now. On the other hand, a bit of RP chat might help recharge my batteries even more. It'll have to be on the laptop though -- George needs the high-powered machines to chew some data for tomorrow's class.
