Back from the doctor and six free months worth of birth control pills to the good. Hopefully this will inhibit the monthly bouts of projectile bleeding I've been going through. *reads the package insert* Hmmm... I should talk to my doctor if I have diabetes or high cholesterol. Guess who I'm phoning back tomorrow? The samples I received are for a relatively new formulation, so perhaps Dr. E just wasn't up on the specs for them. Either that, or at this point the benefits outweigh the possible drawbacks. They'd better: once I start these, I'm on them for the next two years, until (according to my mother's schedule) full menopause hits.
In the meantime, the depression is dark, grinding, savage, and just plain hideous. At least I'm not at the point of hurting myself anymore, but still, it's no fun. And I seem to be able to work, albeit at a slower pace than normal. Go me! *waves the Sarcasm Flag*
Tonight, a meeting ofThe Coven of the Sacred Well oops -- the Shrine of Diana, now an official affiliate of the Correllian Tradition. It will be interesting to see what changes this brings.

See www.witchvox.com, traditions section, Correllian Nativist for a good synopsis of our tradition. It's a little more condensed than the info on the website and some would say more user friendly.
