A good day

Three days ago, my psychiatrist upped the dosage of the antipsychotic I'm taking as an adjunct to my antidepressants, from .5 mg daily to 1 mg. It might actually be working.

Today I had energy. I went to the dry cleaners, ate out, did a bit of long-overdue Christmas present shopping, sent off a money order for that statue I just purchased on eBay. Went to the grocery store and walked two blocks home afterwards while planning for the full moon ritual I'll be hosting in April. I'm feeling things -- and for the first time in a long time, it doesn't hurt to feel.

I've got some phone calls to catch up on, and a Hardy Boys cover AND a 6-page preview that NBM just dropped in my lap with an insanely tight deadline (remember what I said about them not being able to find their assholes with a flashlight and a map?), but on the whole I'm doing pretty well.

Gacked from rugimaru... but why does the scorpion look like a shrimp? 0_o?

Unfortunately, the writing of "Strange Attractors" got derailed/overwhelmed when the fanfic universe broke out into the DegSep roleplaying system and my creative energies became engaged in maintaining a shared universe with several other fanfic writers. What you see on neo_ex_machina, as well as on the DegSep LJ Community and website, is pretty much what's available (though there are well over 100 chat logs that haven't seen the light of day beyond the RP and its players). I am glad you've enjoyed what's been posted, though!

Oh, I have already seen all of your work in neo_ex_machina and I must say that I am very impressed. I will do some illustrations on "Strange Attractors" of it's okay with you.
