Late, late last night, the DragCave administrators played a major prank by slowly changing the dragon sprites over to Pokemon sprites. Great was the weeping and the wailing and the gnashing of teeth, and epic were the LULZ!

They're all back to normal today, of course. But it was fun while it lasted (especially watching people throw flouncy fits and threaten to leave the site because of it).

Shucks, I missed it! I don't think any of my draggys got Pokemon'ed, but it would have been good for a laugh.

I was pretty annoyed by the PokePrank. But then I was convinced at first that the site had been hacked, which would suck. I thought that TJ wouldn't orchestrate or give the okay to a prank like that considering he's gotten in trouble once before for using copyrighted images on the site.

But then I remembered that TJ is a high schooler. With the sense of invinsibility, poor memory, and borderline assholishness that go along with being a high schooler. Ditto for several admins there. So then I was annoyed because... well, TJ and the admins just annoy me in general.

I did keep my annoyance off the forums though. That place is a factory of wank and idiocy no matter what your opinion of the issues.

ZOMFG!! XD!! And I missed it! I laughed so hard watching everyone record the changing sprites. Personally I can't wait for more like this in the future. Makes the dragon cave interesting, beyond chasing eggs and what not. I hate pranks, but this was priceless.
