I can't seem to work today, so I'd might as well do something productive. Behold, photos from Gay Pride here in Winnipeg, where over 5,000 people showed up to celebrate.
First, our walking group (minus me, of course):

The Legislative Building with lots of folks gathered:

A showgirl, with puppy!

Two drag queens who show up every year in outrageous outfits:

The float in front of us in the parade:

Seen on the back of one of the parade marshals:

A marching band which accompanied the parade, and who were actually quite good:

During the march, some angel wings:

On the last leg of the journey, some thoughtful folks provided a place for dogs in the parade to get a drink and cool off:

At the merchants tent, a sweet little dog at one of the tables (her name is Cloe):

And finally, seen at the bus stop on the way home:

It was a great Pride event, but by the end of the day and after an hour-long march I was tuckered right out. So many people! Still, it was a great success, and we even had one person approach us who's interested in the Full Moon Group. We'll see if she contacts us.
