Trying to wake up and not doing a very good job of it. I need more coffee.

My uterus still hasn't pulled its party trick. This is starting to worry me a little, since it's now been 28 days and my period has been coming around the 21-24 day mark for the last couple of years. Could this be it? Menopause? I'm 43, and my mother hit menopause at 42. If it is, there have been remarkably few symptoms.

Last night I finally broke the barrier on MM -- I did three pages, each in an hour, and then started turning out pages every 30-45 minutes. I'm crossing my fingers that I can keep up that speed today.

Time to find something to listen to on the studio TV and get down to work... after I scan the latest LJ-related wank, of course.

Could be menopause! The bad news is there might still be symptoms coming if this was your first missed period...i think you have to go a full year without any bleeding to be declared officially menopausal.
If you are entering menopause, congratulations on entering the Crone stage, we should celebrate.

...my poor mom, btw, STILL bleeds even after getting her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed. She had them removed at around age 54 and STILL was only peri menopausal. Ick.
